Pengembangan Ekowisata Heritage Berdasarkan Preferensi Pengunjung di Kecamatan Mentok Kabupaten Bangka Barat Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung

Abstract

Kecamatan Mentok memiliki potensi yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai daya tarik ekowisata heritage melalui bangunan peninggalan yang mempunyai nilai historis di baliknya. Tujuan dari proyek akhir yaitu mengidentifikasi sumberdaya heritage, sumberdaya wisata unggulan, karakteristik dan preferensi pengunjung. Data diperoleh melalui studi literatur, observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis data terdiri dari analisis kualitatif menggunakan triangulasi data dan kuantitatif menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi. Sumberdaya heritage di Kecamatan Mentok Kabupaten Bangka Barat terdiri dari 14 bangunan peninggalan dan tujuh diantaranya merupakan sumberdaya wisata unggulan berdasarkan penilaian sejarawan. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengunjung setuju terhadap pengembangan ekowisata heritage di Kecamatan Mentok Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Hal tersebut terlihat dari penilaian preferensi pengunjung yang setuju jika sumberdaya heritage tersebut tidak terdapat di tempat lain, akses yang mudah untuk dijangkau menuju lokasi dan fasilitas yang memadai di lokasi wisata heritage serta hospitality yang baik dan ramah dari pengelola. Luaran berupa program wisata harian dengan judul “Heritrip”, bermalam dengan judul “Culturnite” dan tahunan berupa festival budaya dengan judul “Jejak Sejarah: Menyelami Budaya dan Sejarah” dan poster sebagai media promosi, serta video dokumenter dengan durasi 2 menit.

Mentok sub-district has the potential to be developed as a heritage ecotourism attraction through heritage buildings that have historical value behind them. The purpose of the final project is to identify heritage resources, superior tourism resources, characteristics and visitor preferences. Data was obtained through literature study, observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis consisted of qualitative analysis using data triangulation and quantitative analysis using frequency distribution tables. Heritage resources in Mentok Sub-district, West Bangka Regency consist of 14 heritage buildings and seven of them are superior tourism resources based on historians' assessment. The identification results show that most visitors agree with the development of heritage ecotourism in Mentok District, West Bangka Regency. This can be seen from the assessment of visitor preferences that agree if the heritage resources are not found elsewhere, easy access to the location and adequate facilities at heritage tourism sites as well as good and friendly hospitality from managers. The output is a daily tour program with the title "Heritrip", an overnight stay with the title "Culturnite" and an annual cultural festival with the title "Traces of History: Diving into Culture and History" and posters as promotional media, as well as a documentary video with a duration of 2 minutes.
