      Abstract
      Kayu rekayasa merupakan kayu komposit hasil dari teknologi penggabungan potongan kayu melalui teknik pengepresan menggunakan perekat pada tekanan dan suhu tinggi. Parameter yang digunakan dalam persyaratan kayu rekayasa, diantaranya adalah parameter sifat struktural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sifat struktural yang terdiri atas sifat fisis dan mekanis kayu rekayasa berupa Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) kayu balsa (Ochroma pyramidale) dan kayu sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria), serta Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) kayu sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria) dan kayu jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba). Metode yang digunakan dalam menentukan sifat struktural kayu didasarkan pada Australian Plywood Standard, yaitu AS/NZS 2269.1:2012. Sifat mekanis produk LVL lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan produk CLT. Diketahui bahwa pada produk LVL dengan jenis kayu penyusun yang memiliki kerapatan kayu yang tinggi, dalam hal ini kayu jabon, memiliki sifat mekanis struktural MOE, MOR, dan kuat geser planar lebih tinggi dibandingkan produk LVL kayu sengon, kecuali pada kuat tekan dengan roler, hasil pengujian kayu sengon sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan kayu jabon.
       
      Engineered wood is a composite wood that created by the technology of combining pieces of wood through compression using adhesive at certain pressure and temperature. Parameters of engineered wood requirements including structural properties. This study aims to determine the physical and mechanical properties of engineered wood in the form of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) of balsa (Ochroma pyramidale) and sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria), and Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) of sengon (P. falcataria) and jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba). The method used in determining the structural properties is based on the Australian Plywood Standard, AS/NZS 2269.1:2012. The mechanical properties of LVL products are higher compared to CLT products. LVL products with constituent wood types that have high wood density, in this case jabon wood, have higher MOE, MOR, and planar shear strength structural mechanical properties than sengon wood LVL products, except for compression strength with rollers, the results of sengon wood product testing is slightly higher than jabon wood.
