      Upaya Konservasi Eksitu Gelam (Melaleuca cajuputi) dan Perbanyakan Generatif pada Tanah Gambut

      Abstract
      Gelam (Melaleuca cajuputi) merupakan spesies adaptif gambut yang memiliki nilai manfaat tinggi, namun populasinya saat ini sudah mulai berkurang. Kemelimpahan manfaat suatu tanaman berkolerasi dengan tingginya penggunaan tanaman, sehingga diperlukan upaya pelestarian agar M. cajuputi tidak punah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pustaka ilmiah mengenai upaya konservasi eksitu gelam dan respon pertumbuhan gelam terhadap pemberian pupuk berbahan dasar limbah kelapa sawit. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis bibliometrik dan desain percobaan rancangan acak lengkap dengan dengan faktor pupuk, yakni mikrokarbon teraktivasi (MT), mikrokarbon non-teraktivasi (MNT), mikrolignoselulosa (ML), dan mikrokristalin selulosa (MK) dengan konsentrasi 1%, 3%, 5%, dan 7%. Berdasarkan analisis bibliometrik dengan kata kunci tren publikasi mengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2019-2023. Kata kunci yang paling sering ditemukan yaitu Melaleuca cajuputi, climate change, dan essential oil. Network visualization memetakan kata kunci “palm oil” yang tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kata kunci lainnya. Potensi penelitian terhadap pemanfaatan limbah yang dihasilkan kelapa sawit terhadap upaya konservasi eksitu gelam menjadi peluang penelitian terbaharukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi MNT7% memberikan respon pertumbuhan gelam terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.
       
      Gelam (Melaleuca cajuputi) is an adaptive species found in peat swamps with high beneficial value, but its population is currently declining. The abundance of benefits from a plant correlates with its high usage, hence conservation efforts are needed to prevent M. cajuputi from becoming extinct. The aim of this research is to analyze scientific literature on ex situ conservation efforts of gelam and its growth response to fertilizer derived from oil palm waste. The methods employed include bibliometric analysis and a completely randomized design experiment with fertilizer factors: activated microcarbon (MT), non-activated microcarbon (MNT), microlignocellulose (ML), and microcrystalline cellulose (MK) at concentration of 1%, 3%, 5%, and 7%. According to bibliometric analysis, publication trends have increased from 2019 to 2023. The most frequently found keywords are Melaleuca cajuputi, climate change, and essential oil. Network visualization mapped the keyword "palm oil," which showed no connection with other keywords. Research potential on utilizing oil palm waste for ex situ conservation efforts of gelam presents a promising avenue for further investigation. The study's results indicate that the application of MNT 7% yielded the best growth response in gelam compared to other treatments.
