      Abstract
      Permasalahan pada proses produksi yang sering terhenti disebabkan oleh kekurangan material. Tujuan proyek akhir ini menentukan jumlah dan waktu pesan yang tepat. Perhitungan pengendalian persediaan berfokus pada material steel angle SS540, 200 x 20 mm – 12 m dan steel angle SS540, 130 x 12 mm – 12 m yang berada pada kelas A hasil analisis ABC. Metode pengendalian persediaan yang digunakan adalah metode probabilistik. Kedua material dibandingkan menggunakan sistem Q, sistem P dan aktual perusahaan dengan memperhatikan biaya persediaan. Steel angle SS540, 200 x 20 mm – 12 m paling efisien menggunakan sistem Q dengan efisiensi 19% dan titik pemesanan kembali di titik reorder point 115 batang dengan jumlah pesanan 88 batang. Akan tetapi, steel angle SS540, 130 x 12 mm – 12 m paling efisien menggunakan sistem P dengan efisiensi 22% dengan melakukan pemesanan setiap 5 minggu dengan lead time 3 minggu dan jumlah persediaan maksimum sebesar 297 batang. Langkah terakhir melakukan pengendalian persediaan 3 bulan ke depan digunakan metode forecasting time series. Hasil menunjukan metode dengan error terendah, yaitu moving average 7 dan 8 periode.
       
      Problems with the production process often stop due to material shortages. The goal of this final project is determining the appropriate number and timing of messages.Inventory control calculations focus on steel angle SS540, 200 x 20 mm – 12 m and steel angle SS540, 130 x 12 mm – 12 m which are in class A as a result of ABC analysis. The inventory control method used is a probabilistic method. The two materials are compared using the Q system, P system and company actuals by paying attention to inventory costs. Steel angle SS540, 200 x 20 mm – 12 m is the most efficient using the Q system with an efficiency of 19% and a reorder point at the reorder point of 115 rods and lot size 88 rods. However, steel angle SS540, 130 x 12 mm – 12 m is most efficient using the P system with an efficiency of 22% by placing orders every 5 weeks with a lead time of 3 weeks and a maximum inventory of 297 rods. Finally, to control inventory for the next 3 months, the time series forecasting method is used. The results show the method with the lowest error, namely the 7 and 8 period moving average.
