      Abstract
      Daging ayam menjadi sumber protein hewani yang sangat diminati di Indonesia. Tingginya kebutuhan ayam menjadi peluang untuk terjun membuka usaha pada bidang ayam broiler. GO CHICKEN merupakan usaha yang bergerak di bidang pangan, terutama pada sektor pemenuhan kebutuhan protein hewani khususnya daging ayam broiler. Tujuan praktik usaha peternakan ini sebagai upaya realisasi usaha dalam bidang peternakan khususnya karkas ayam broiler secara langsung di wilayah Kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat. Metode praktik usaha yang dilakukan secara langsung disertai dengan pelaksanaan penjualan karkas ayam secara berkala sejak 5 bulan. Produk pada usaha karkas ayam GO CHICKEN yaitu, karkas ayam kecil, karkas ayam sedang, usus ayam, dan ati ampela. Harga komoditi rata-rata berada diatas break event point. Usaha ini layak dilanjutkan dibuktikan dengan hasil Nilai R/C sebesar 1,09.
       
      Chicken meat is a source of animal protein that is very popular in Indonesia. The high demand for chickens is an opportunity to start a business in the broiler chicken sector. GO CHICKEN is a business operating in the food sector, especially in the sector of meeting the need for animal protein, especially broiler chicken meat. The aim of this livestock business practice is an effort to realize business in the livestock sector, especially broiler chicken carcasses directly in the Bogor Tengah District area, Bogor City, West Java. The direct business practice method is accompanied by regular sales of chicken carcasses for 5 months. The products in the GO CHICKEN chicken carcass business are small chicken carcasses, medium chicken carcasses, chicken intestines and gizzards. Average commodity prices are above the break event point. This business is worth continuing as proven by the R/C value of 1.09.
