dc.description.abstractMUHAMAD TEGAR AL WARA. Pemanfaatan Hasil Limbah Pertanian Untuk Pakan and Analisis Usaha Penggemukkan Sapi Potong di Peternakan Kulur Farm Majalengka. Dibimbing oleh BAGUS PRIYO PURWANTO dan TERA FIT RAYANI. Kebutuhan akan daging dalam negeri terus meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsi protein hewani. Namun saat ini kebutuhan daging dalam negeri tidak diimbangi oleh produksi yang optimal. Dengan demikian perlu dipelajari kelayakan usaha penggemukkan sapi potong, salah satu usaha yang perlu dipelajari yaitu peternakan Kulur Farm milik Bapak Asep yang menggunakan limbah pertanian sebagai pakannya. Saat ini jumlah ternak sapi yang dimiliki 19 ekor yang terdiri dari 13 ekor sapi Limousin dan 6 ekor sapi Simental. Dengan menggunakkan pakan hasil limbah pertanian yaitu limbah jerami jagung dan jerami padi rataan pertambahan bobot badan harian yang ada di peternakan Kulur Farm ini sebesar 420 gram/ekor/harinya. Dari analisa ekonomi diperoleh nilai Net Present Value sebesar Rp. 235.261.291, dengan nternal Rate of Return 39%. Nilai Benefit Cost Ratio sebesar 1,7 dengan Nilai Payback Periode 3,2 tahun. Dari 4 kriteria penilaian investasi menunjukkan analisis usaha sapi potong Kulur Farm layak untuk dijalankan.
dc.description.abstractMUHAMAD TEGAR AL WARA. Utilizing of Agricultural By-Products in Fattening of Beef Cattle and its Economic analysis at Kulur Farm Majalengka. Supervised by BAGUS PRIYO PURWANTO and TERA FIT RAYANI. Demand of cattle meat in Indonesia increase along with the increasing in population and public awareness for animal protein consumption. However, currently the domestic meat production can not fulfill the domestic demand maybe due to un-optimal beef production system. One of the beef fattening businesses is Kulur farm owned by bapak Asep. The farm use feed of agricultural by-products. The farm raised 19 heads of Limousine (13) and Simmental (6) cattle. forproduction system Analyzing the sensitivity of the feasibility of the beef fattening business owned by Mr. Asep, Kulur Farm. Currently, the number of cattle owned is 19, consisting of 13 Limousin cattle and 6 Simmental cattle. Average daily gain was 420 g/h/d. the economic analysis showed that the Net Present Value was IDR 235.261.291 with the Internal Rate of Return 39%. The Benefit Cost Ratio and the Payback Period values were 1,7 and 3.2 years, respsctively. The refore it was said that the Kulur Farm was feasible to run for beef catlle fattening by using agricultural by-product as fed.
