dc.description.abstract | Tumor is a degenerative disease that produces uncontrollable cell proliferation as a result of a variety of conditions. Conventional tumor treatment has numerous drawbacks, including immunosuppression, lethargy, and alopecia. Typhonium flagelliforme, which contains flavonoids, tannin, and steroids, has the promising potential to be used as a tumor chemoprevention. Nanotechnology aids flavonoid delivery to the target organ, making the treatment more effective. This study aims to observe the antiproliferation activity of a nanoparticle extract of T. flagelliforme. The A549 cell line was tested on six treatments (negative control, positive control, 10, 100, 500, and 1000 ppm). Exposure of A549 cells to nanoparticle extract of T. flagelliforme led to a dose-dependent activity in cell proliferation, with the highest activity achieved at the dose of 1000 ppm, as indicated with the highest percentage of antiproliferation activity.
