      Abstract

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is an infectious disease in cats caused by mutations of the Feline Corona Virus (FCoV). Based on clinical signs, there are two types of FIP, namely wet FIP (effusive FIP) and dry FIP (non-effusive FIP). Wet feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is characterized by the formation of abdominal or thoracic effusion, while dry FIP is characterized by disorders of the neurological or ocular system. This study aims to evaluate the recovery rate of FIP patients with neurological clinical symptoms regarding the use of the GS-441524 antiviral as a treatment option for FIP cases. The research method used is a case study of Neurological FIP patients. Antiviral therapy is carried out during 84 days of treatment and is supported by several supportive therapies. The recovery parameters observed include progress in improving clinical signs, appetite and drinking, urination, defecation, body weight, and are accompanied by the results of supporting examinations.
