      Abstract

Petroleum exploitation and exploration activities before the regulation resulted in crude oil spills causing pollution to the environment. Bioremediation of the process of restoring the environment using live microorganisms. Biostimulation of the addition of nutrients for microbial proliferation whereas bioaugmentation of the addition of microorganisms increases biodegradation. This study used Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa microorganisms administered to petroleum-contaminated soil with the highest concentration of 4700 mg/kg. The concentration of crude oil is measured by gravimetric method, measured once a week during the four-week process. The use of biostimulation and bioaugmentation can reduce the Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) degradation rate by 65% of location X and 92% of location Y. The results of the analysis in the form of pH, temperature and humidity parameters affect the degradation rate of TPH. The preparation of SOPs is needed to be able to improve the efficiency of the results of the bioremediation process based on the obstacles that have been faced to be implemented in the next process.
