      Abstract

The transportation sector is one of the biggest contributors to pollution due to the waste substances produced during the combustion process. One of the ambient air pollutant parameters produced by transportation sector activities is PM10. Long-term exposure to PM10 can lead to various health issues. Therefore, an analysis of the dispersion pattern of PM10 concentrations on Gunung Putri Highway using AERMOD modeling is necessary. Direct field measurements indicate that PM10 concentrations during weekdays range from 72,80 to 135,39 µg/m3, while during weekends they range from 50,68 to 82,52 µg/m3. The number of passing vehicles is one of the factors influencing the magnitude of PM10 concentrations; the more vehicles passing by, the higher the PM10 concentration. The dispersion pattern of PM10 concentrations with AERMOD View on weekdays ranges from 33,78 to 238,49 µg/m3, while on weekends it ranges from 17,20 to 110,90 µg/m3, with the wind predominantly moving towards the Southeast direction. PM10 concentrations on certain road segments, such as segments 1, 2, and 6, exceed the standard threshold, which is greater than 75 µg/m3.
