      Optimasi Praperlakuan Hidrogen Peroksida dan Suhu pada Ekstraksi Ulvan dari Ulva lactuca Berbantu Ultrasonikasi

      Abstract
      Ulvan merupakan kandungan polisakarida utama yang terkandung dalam dalam rumput laut hijau. Rendemen ulvan hasil ekstraksi berbantu ultrasonikasi cenderung memiliki warna yang gelap. Suhu ekstraksi pada metode ultrasonikasi masih memerlukan kajian untuk menghasilkan rendemen yang tinggi. Praperlakuan hidrogen peroksida dan optimasi suhu dipilih sebagai alternatif dalam ekstraksi ulvan yang lebih efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan karakteristik fisiko-kimia dari ulvan yang diekstrak dengan perlakuan hidrogen peroksida dan perbedaan suhu ekstrraksi. Rumput laut Ulva lactuca diberi praperlakuan hidrogen peroksida dan diekstrak dengan larutan akuades menggunakan bantuan sonikator dengan suhu 40°C, 60°C, dan 80°C selama 90 menit. Suhu secara signifikan meningkatkan nilai rendemen. Praperlakuan hidrogen peroksida terhadap Ulva lactuca meningkatkan nilai derajat putih ulvan. Ulvan terbaik berdasarkan rendemen terbanyak sebesar 28% dan kecerahan yaitu sebesar 82.14% hasil ekstraksi dengan praperlakuan hidrogen peroksida pada suhu 80°C.
       
      Ulvan is the main polysaccharide contained in green seaweed. The ulvan yield resulting from ultrasonication-assisted extraction tends to have a dark color. The extraction temperature in the ultrasonication method still requires study to produce a high yield. Hydrogen peroxide pretreatment and temperature optimization were chosen as alternatives for more efficient ulvan extraction. This research aims to determine the physic-chemical characteristics of ulvan extracted by hydrogen peroxide treatment and different extraction temperatures. Ulva lactuca seaweed was pretreated with hydrogen peroxide and extracted with distilled water solution using a sonicator at temperatures of 40°C, 60°C, and 80°C for 90 minutes. Temperature significantly increased the yield of value. Hydrogen peroxide pretreatment of Ulva lactuca increased the white degree value of ulvan. The best ulvan based on the highest yield of 28% and lightness of 82.14% resulting from extraction with hydrogen peroxide pretreatment at a temperature of 80°C.
