dc.description.abstract | Freshwater lobster or redclaw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a commodity that has high economic value in Indonesia. There are obstacles experienced by farmers, namely the limited supply of lobster seeds as demand increases. This study aims to analyze the effect of administering OODEV on the level of gonad maturity in female freshwater lobsters through injection. The research was carried out with three treatments consisting of a dose of 0.25 mL Kg-1, 1 mL Kg-1, and a control treatment (without any additional dose of OODEV) with repetitions 3 times. Hormone injections were carried out at the base of the four lobsters' walking legs. Maintenance is carried out in plastic containers with a volume capacity of 45 L and using a Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). Freshwater lobsters were reared for 45 days and fed Super-Vit sinking pellets using the Ad libitum method. The parameters observed were gonadosomatic index, hepatosomatic index, absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, fecundity, egg diameter, gonad maturity level, and gonad histology. | id |
