dc.description.abstractWireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) was one of technologies on Indoor Positioning Location-based Services (LBS) which was part of the Context-aware System. The LBS‟s applications were commonly found in everyday life, such as Car Navigation and Yellow Pages. The main idea of this prototype development was to create mobile commerce application for IPB‟s facilities on Windows Mobile Professional phone which implemented Context-aware System. The contexts were location, time, user‟s profile, and presence status of the user. The location context retrieved by measuring the signal strength of the access point of the Wi-Fi on a location.The name of the access point with the highest signal then recorded and used as the location context. There were two services of this application, they were product images and the static map images of the facilities.id
