Pembangunan spatial data Warehouse berbasis Web untuk persebaran hotspot di wilayah Indonesia
Abstract
A data warehouse is a repository of data organized following a multidimensional model in order to
be analyzed by On-Line Analitycal Processing (OLAP) applications. Data warehouse and OLAP
systems help to interactively analyze huge volumes of data. Spatial data warehouse refers to
integration of spatial data in multidimensional data model of which the analyses result is the basic of
strategic decisions. In order to include spatial information as a result of decision-making process, we
developed data warehouse intended to explore data related to space i.e. spatial data. This research
develops spatial data warehouse and spatial OLAP for hotspot distribution in Indonesia using
Geomondrian. Geomondrian is a web-based spatial OLAP integrated solution supporting spatial
dimensions and measures, and providing interactive pivot tables and diagrams displays. Geomondrian
as spatial OLAP server can execute OLAP operations with spatial data including roll-up, drill-down,
dice, slice, and pivoting.
