      Abstract
Giant Sea Wall will be built in the Bay of Jakarta. Intervention of reclamation Giant Sea Wall will lead to changes in hydro oceanographic patterns that will affect the distribution pattern of fertility in Jakarta Bay. Changes in distribution patterns can be simulated with numerical models approach Biogeochemical ROMS (Regional Ocean Modeling System) which based on four variables NPZD (nutrients, plankton, zooplankton and detritus). This study aimed to compare the biogeochemical processes that occur in the Bay of Jakarta in relation with intervention construction of Giant Sea Wall seasonally in the Bay of Jakarta. Model validation of nitrate with field data showed a high correlation when the first transitional seasons (r=0.9) and validation of chlorophyll-a with image modis satelit 2005-2015 showed a high correlation (r=0.8). Distribution pattern of NPZD was influenced by current circulation patterns. Giant Sea Wall intervention led to flow into the bay becomes blocked causing the inflow into the canal of reclamation and turn on land reclamation. Passive tracer movement of tracer distribution pattern of the Ciliwung River is affected by current flow and dispersed flow entering canal of reclamation and tend to accumulate around the canal. The influence of input Ciliwung River discharge into Jakarta Bay cause an increade the concentration of nitrat exception of all the variabels, especially dissolved oxgen has lower concentration. Variables component of nitrate, phytoplankton, zooplankton, and detritus in Jakarta Bay seems to correlation if nitrate concentration increase while the concentration of phytoplankton has decreased due to higher concentration of zooplankton grazing activities that lead to increased concentration of detritus.
