Perkembangan dan pertumbuhan fragmentasi buatan karang lunak (octocorallis: Alcyonacea] Sarcophyton crassocaule di Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan seribu, Jakarta
Abstract
Soft coral transplanstation by artificial fragmentation is one of the methods for cultivation or soft corals reproduce quickly. The purpose of this research is to know about survival rates and rate of growth of soft coral Sarcophyton crassocaule transplants in 3 meters depth, 12 meters depth, and laboratory ponds. The survival level of the soft coral around 94.44% for 3 meters depth, 88.33% 12 meters depth, and 100% for the laboratory pond. Growth rate at 3 meters depth ranges from ± 0.95 cm / month, 12 meter depth range ± 0.56 cm / month, and laboratory pool ranged ± 0-4.71 cm / month. Difference transplanstation depth of soft coral in the sea does’nt give a real difference effect because the value growth of long, width, and area is Fhitung (0.13 to 0.71) <Ftabel (5.99).
