Persepsi khalayak pendengar tentang mutu siaran radio pertanian Ciawi: Studi kasus Desa Cileungsi Kecamatan Ciawi dan Desa Ciriung Kecamatan Cibinong

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to identify, first. the characteristic of Rodio-Pertanian Ciawi 's (RPC 's) audiences, its perceptions toward. and its exposure to the radio; second, to idenJify the characteristic of audiences that signiflC(lll//y related to the perceptions of audiences toward the RPC ·s_ The research was carried out at the Deso Cileungsi Kecamatan and Deso Cirit01g Kecamatan Cibinong of Kabupaten Bogor. A survey method with stratified random sampling was applied. The resulJ show that.first, most of the respondenls are 15 to 24 and 45 to 54 years old, secondary and high school level of education, and agricu/Jure as main livelihood. Most of the respondents viewed that the matter of broadcast are appropriate enough, creatively design, mannerly guided. and on time schedule. Widz regards to exposureness, the RPC 's was expose to the respondenls three to five times a week with 240 to 480 minutes of duraJion a week. Through Chi-square and Ranlc-Spearman analysis, the resulJ show that gender and education level are two variables of audiences characteristics that show strong relation to frequency and duration hearing the radio, and interactive design of the broadcast.
