Development of Photonic-Crystal-Based-Sensor Interface for Real Time and Continuous Measurement
Abstract
Photonic crystal with two defects are able to fabricate and has been used as a sensor for sugar concentration detection device. To maintain an information from photonic crystal sensor, appropriate interface will be needed so a human as user will be able to process the information for a further use. The interface also be able to control and get the value of sensor output in a real time and continuously.
This photonic-crystal-based-sensor interface works by visualize and present measurement data in continuous graphical interface. User of the interface able to log data and view any change of sample in real time. The signal from the sensor process by microcontrollers and send to computer by serial communication process. Performance of the interface measure with visibility to define contrast between interface data output and hardware data output in virtual hardware simulation and real time simulation.
