Korelasi Kualitas Air Terhadap Kinerja Produksi Udang Vaname di PT Surya Windu Kartika, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur
Abstract
Udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang banyak dibudidayakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis korelasi antara kualitas air terhadap kinerja produksi udang vaname secara deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 5 petak dengan padat tebar 116-130 ekor m-2. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis principal component analysis (PCA) dan uji korelasi. Hasil uji korelasi yang diperoleh yaitu survival rate (SR) berkorelasi kuat hingga sangat kuat dengan kecerahan pagi, salinitas, suhu pagi dan siang, nitrat (NO3), fosfat (PO4), total organic matter (TOM), total vibrio count (TVC), dan total green vibrio (TGV). Average daily growth (ADG) berkorelasi kuat hingga sangat kuat dengan kecerahan dan pH pagi, salinitas, dissolved oxygen (DO) siang dan malam, amonium (NH4), nitrit (NO2), nitrat, TOM, TVC, total bacteria count (TBC), total yellow vibrio (TYV), dan TGV. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) berkorelasi kuat dengan kecerahan pagi dan siang, pH pagi, salinitas, suhu pagi dan siang, DO siang dan malam, nitrat, TOM, alkalinitas total, TVC, TBC, TYV, dan TGV. Hasil korelasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan maupun penurunan kadar parameter kualitas air mempengaruhi SR, ADG, dan FCR. Vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the leading commodities that are widely cultivated. This study aims to analyze the correlation between water quality and vaname shrimp production performance descriptively. The research was conducted using 5 plots with a stocking density of 116-130 shrimp m-2. The method used in this research is principal component analysis (PCA) and correlation test. The correlation test results obtained were survival rate (SR) correlated strongly to very strongly with morning brightness, salinity, morning and afternoon temperatures, nitrate (NO3), phosphate (PO4), total organic matter (TOM), total vibrio count (TVC), and total green vibrio (TGV). Average daily growth (ADG) was strongly to very strongly correlated with morning brightness and pH, salinity, day and night dissolved oxygen (DO), ammonium (NH4), nitrite (NO2), nitrate, TOM, TVC, total bacteria count (TBC), total yellow vibrio (TYV), and TGV. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) was strongly correlated with morning and afternoon brightness, morning pH, salinity, morning and afternoon temperature, afternoon and evening DO, nitrate, TOM, total alkalinity, TVC, TBC, TYV, and TGV. The correlation results showed that each increase or decrease in water quality parameter levels affected SR, ADG, and FCR.
