dc.description.abstractBudidaya jagung di lahan pasang surut memiliki banyak kendala yakni rendahnya unsur hara dan pH tanah yang sangat asam. Salah satu teknik budidaya untuk menangani kendala tersebut adalah dengan budidaya jenuh air. Selain itu, pemberian unsur hara makro mikro yang optimum dan penggunaan varietas yang toleran dapat meningkatkan produktivitas jagung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui respon pertumbuhan tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) di berbagai varietas pada budidaya jenuh air dengan pemberian unsur hara makro dan mikro di lahan pasang surut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret˗Agustus 2023 di Desa Karya Bakti, Kecamatan Rantau Rasau, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan faktorial RKLT. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian unsur hara makro dan mikro dengan 8 perlakuan yang terdiri dari: tanpa perlakuan atau kontrol (P1), pemberian N (P2), pemberian N dan P (P3), pemberian N, P, dan K (P4), pemberian NPK dan dolomit (P5), pemberian NPK, dolomit dan pupuk kandang (P6), pemberian NPK, dolomit, pupuk kandang dan Cu (P7), pemberian NPK, dolomit, pupuk kandang, Cu dan Zn (P8). Faktor kedua adalah varietas, yang terdiri atas: NK Sumo (V1) dan Pioneer 27 (V2). Terdapat 3 ulangan dengan 48 satuan percobaan. Data dibandingkan menggunakan uji F dan jika perlakuan berbeda nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian unsur hara makro lengkap menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata pada setiap karakter pengamatan. Produktivitas varietas NK Sumo tidak berbeda nyata dengan Pioneer 27. Pemberian unsur mikro tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hampir semua karakter pengamatan.id
dc.description.abstractCultivating corn in tidal land faces numerous challenges, such as low nutrient content and highly acidic soil pH. One cultivation technique to address these issues is through water-saturated soil cultivation. In addition, optimizing the application of macro and micronutrients, as well as using tolerant varieties can enhance corn productivity. This research aims to determine the growth response of corn plants (Zea mays L) in water-saturated soil cultivation using various varieties and applying macro and micronutrients in tidal land. The study was conducted from March to August 2023 in Karya Bakti Village, Rantau Rasau District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi. The research employed a randomized factorial design (RKLT). The first factor involved the application of macro and micronutrients with 8 treatments: Control (P1), nitrogen application (P2), nitrogen and phosphorus application (P3), nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium application (P4), NPK and dolomite application (P5), NPK, dolomite, and organic fertilizer application (P6), NPK, dolomite, organic fertilizer, and copper (Cu) application (P7), NPK, dolomite, organic fertilizer, copper (Cu), and zinc (Zn) application (P8). The second factor was the varieties: NK Sumo (V1) and Pioneer 27 (V2). There were 3 replications with 48 experimental units. Data were compared using an F-test, and if significant differences were found, a Tukey's Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test was conducted at the 5% level. The results indicate that applying complete macronutrients significantly influenced each observed characteristic. The productivity of the NK Sumo variety did not significantly differ from Pioneer 27 variety. The application of micronutrients did not significantly affect nearly all observed characteristics.id
