dc.description.abstract | Ikan sidat (Anguilla sp.) termasuk ke dalam ikan kategori katadromus yang
beruaya dari hulu sungai menuju ke laut untuk memijah serta bertelur. Hingga saat
ini budidaya ikan sidat masih menggunakan 100% benih yang berasal dari alam.
17α-metiltestosteron merupakan androgen spesifik pada spesies jantan yang sering
digunakan dalam pembalikan kelamin (maskulinisasi). Oodev merupakan hasil dari
kombinasi antara Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG) dan anti dopamin.
Rancangan penelitian ini berupa rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri atas empat
perlakuan dengan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari 2 mL Oodev, 1 mL Oodev +
3 mg 17α-metiltestosteron, 1 mL Oodev + 6 mg 17α-metiltestosteron dan perlakuan
kontrol. Ikan sidat yang digunakan berukuran bobot rata-rata 239±24,10 g yang
berasal dari pembudidaya di daerah Situbondo, Jawa Timur. Wadah pemeliharaan
ikan sidat adalah bak beton yang berukuran 2 m x 2 m x 0,7 m (2,8 m3
) selama 60
hari pemeliharaan. Pakan yang diberikan berupa pakan tepung yang telah
ditambahkan hormon dan pemberian dilakukan secara restricted sebanyak 3% dari
biomassa dengan frekuensi pemberian pakan dua kali sehari. Hasil penelitian
berupa penambahan Oodev dan 17α-metiltestosteron berpengaruh nyata terhadap
indeks gonadosomatik dengan hasil terbaik pada perlakuan OMT6 dengan 0,32 %. | id |
dc.description.abstract | Eel (Anguilla sp.) belongs to the catadromous category of fish that migrates
from the upstream of the river to the sea to spawn and lay eggs. Until now, the
cultivation of eel still uses 100% of seeds that come from nature. 17α methyltestosterone is a male species-specific androgen that is often used in sex
reversal (masculinization). Oodev is the result of a combination of Pregnant Mare
Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG) and anti-dopamine. The research design was
completely randomized, consisting of four treatments with three replications. The
treatment consisted of 2 mL Oodev, 2 mL Oodev + 3 mg 17α-methyltestosterone,
2 mL Oodev + 6 mg 17α-methyltestosterone, and control treatment. The eel used
has an average weight of 239±24.10 g from farmers in the Situbondo area, East
Java. The eel-rearing container is a concrete tank measuring 2 m x 2 m x 0.7 m (2.8
m3
) for 60 days of rearing. The feed given was in the form of flour that had been
added with hormone and was given in a restricted manner as much as 3% of the
biomass with the frequency of feeding twice a day. The results of the study in the
form of the addition of Oodev and 17α-methyltestosterone had a significant effect
on the gonadosomatic index with the best results in the OMT6 treatment with
