Efektivitas Pesan Lingkungan Melalui Ekowisata Hutan Organik.

Abstract

Kerusakan hutan yang ada di daerah puncak menjadi salah satu isu lingkungan, untuk mengatasi kerusakan lingkungan dapat dilakukan dengan menyebarkan nilai-nilai terkait pelestarian, keberlanjutan, dan sikap peduli lingkungan atau dapat disebut sebagai aksi komunikasi lingkungan. Alat yang efektif untuk mengkomunikasikan komunikasi lingkungan adalah ekowisata. Ekowisata adalah salah satu simbol komunikasi lingkungan yang menjadi tempat edukasi terkait konservasi alam untuk wisatawan ataupun penduduk setempat. Maka, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas pesan lingkungan melalui ekowisata sebagai simbol komunikasi lingkungan di Hutan Organik, Megamendung, Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan didukung oleh metode kualitatif. Responden penelitian ini adalah 45 orang wisatawan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara framing pesan dengan persepsi pesan. Namun persepsi pesan memiliki hubungan dengan persepsi efek pesan. Sehingga efektivitas pesan hanya dapat dilihat dari persepsi pesan dan persepsi efek pesan.

Forest destruction in the peak area is an environmental issue. Overcoming environmental damage can be done by spreading values related to preservation, sustainability, and caring for the environment or can be called environmental communication actions. An effective tool for communicating environmental communications is ecotourism. Ecotourism is a symbol of environmental communication which is a place of education related to nature conservation for tourists or local residents. So, the purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of environmental messages through ecotourism as a symbol of environmental communication in the Organic Forest, Megamendung, Bogor. This research uses quantitative methods and is supported by qualitative methods. The respondents of this study were 45 tourists who were selected using a convenience sampling technique. The results showed that there was no relationship between message framing and message perception. However, the perception of the message has a relationship with the perception of the effect of the message. So that the effectiveness of the message can only be seen from the perception of the message and the perception of the effect of the message.
