| dc.description.abstract | MUHAMMAD CHOIRUL AMRI. Spesies Rayap (Ordo Blattodea) di Area Penggergajian Kayu di Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah. Dibimbing oleh IDHAM SAKTI HARAHAP dan NADZIRUM MUBIN.
Peningkatan jumlah bangunan penduduk berdampak semakin menyempitnya lingkungan hidup rayap dan dapat mengurangi sumber makanan rayap. Dalam mencari sumber makanan, rayap mampu merusak bangunan disekitarnya yang mengandung selulosa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesies rayap yang ada di area penggergajian kayu di Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah. Sampel rayap diambil dari tiga lokasi penggergajian kayu, yaitu di Kecamatan Mojolaban satu lokasi dan Polokarto dua lokasi. Tipe tanah dan vegetasi penutup tanah yang mendominasi di area pengamatan rayap diamati. Spesies rayap yang diperoleh di lapangan yaitu tiga spesies dari Famili Termitidae, yaitu Nasutitermes havilandi, Odontotermes javanicus, dan Macrotermes gilvus. Penggergajian kayu di Desa Panguripan memiliki jenis tanah aluvial. Jenis vegetasi penutup tanah yang mendominasi di sekitar area penggergajian kayu yang diamati adalah Chromolaena odorata (Kirinyuh) dan Leucaena leucocephala (Lamtoro). Spesies rayap yang ditemukan berpotensi sebagai hama di area penggergajian kayu. | id |

The increase in the number of residential buildings has an impact on the narrowing of the termite habitat and can reduce the termite food source. In searching for food sources, termites are able to damage buildings around them that contain cellulose. This study aims to determine the termite species that exist in sawmills in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. Termite samples were taken from three sawmill locations, namely one location in Mojolaban District and two locations in Polokarto. Soil type and dominant vegetation in the termite observation area is observed. The termite species obtained in the field were three species from the Family Termitidae, namely Nasutitermes havilandi, Odontotermes javanicus, and Macrotermes gilvus. The wood sawmill in Panguripan Village has alluvial soil type. The dominant vegetation cover around the observed sawmills is Chromolaena odorata (Kirinyuh) and Leucaena leucocephala (Lamtoro). The termite species found have the potential to be pests in the sawmills area. | id |
