      Abstract

The constraints faced by MSMEs in Lampung due to the COVID-19 pandemic include difficulties in financing. BPRS have great potential as a source of financing for MSMEs. However, BPRS in Lampung have a high NPF ratio and it is increasing that the BPRS is experiencing financial problems and inefficient performance. This research is aimed to analyze the efficiency of BPRS in Lampung during the period of 2020-2022 and identifiy the influence of BPRS’ efficiency which is proxied by CAR, NPF, ROA, BOPO, FDR, Inflation and GDP on the efficiency of the BPRS. The obtaining data technique that issued in this research is census method with taking 11 samples of BPRS. Efficiency measurement used in this research is Two Stage Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results showed that as whole BPRS in Lampung have a fluctuating level of efficiency and is inefficient. Meanwhile, the second stage of testing using tobit methods shows that BOPO have a negative and significant effect on efficiency and FDR have a positive and significant effect on efficiency, while CAR, NPF, ROA, Inflation, and GDP have no significant effect on BPRS’ efficiency. Recommendations for BPRS to improve input utilization and output achievement
