      Abstract

Malaria is one of the world’s lethal diseases nowadays. Various ways to reduce malaria have been done by eradicating the vector and the parasite which using synthetic or natural drugs. But, the resistance and the side effects from those drugs can not be ignored. So that, the alternatives of anti malaria drugs which are more affordable and effective are needed. One of the plants which potentially has medicinal property as an anti malaria is Cape Perwinkle plant. The study was using in silico methods through redocking, docking and virtual screening process on 22 active compounds of Cape Perwinkle with 6 PfDTD targets receptors that would be selected into 5 best ligands. Based on this research, one of the Cape Perwinkle active compounds with ligand code 19_CID_163025450 has the lowest affinity value, and also has quietly strong and relatively stable bonds.
