      Pengaruh penambahan vitamin E (dl-a-Tocoferol Acetate) dalam ransum terhadap penampilan dan beberapa sifat karkas kelinci

      Abstract
      Vitamin merupakan salah satu zat makanan yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam fungsi sel tubuh sehingga penting untuk diperhatikan. Salah satu vitamin yang esensial bagi temak adalah vitamin E, karena tubuh temak tidak dapat mensintesa, sehingga perlu ditambahkan dalam ransum. Untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari (baik langsung maupun tidak langsung) pengaruh penambahan vitamin E (dl-a-Tocopherol Acetate) dalam ransum, maka dilakukan pengamatan terhadap 30 ekor kelinci New Zealand White persilangan lepas sapih dengan melihat penampilan dan beberapa sifat karkasnya.
       
      The effect of vitamin E (dl-a-Tocopherol Acetate) supplementation in diets on performances and some characteristic of rabbit carcasses was studied in thirty post weaning female rabbits. The design of the experiment was completely randomized with five treatments and six replications. Five treatments were EO= basal ration (without suplementation dl-a-Tocopherol Acetate), E50= EO + 50 mg dl-a -Tocopherol Acetatelkg diet, E100 = EO + 100 mg dl-a - Tocopherol Acetatelkg diet, E150 = EO + 150 mg dl-a -Tocopherol Acetatelkg diet, and E200 = EO +200 mg dl-a -Tocopherol Acetatelkg dies. All meat from the right side carcasses were separated to determine dry matter (water content), fat (ether exstract), protein, saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acid content.
