dc.description.abstractPerubahan iklim dapat mengganggu pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman teh. Penelitian dampak perubahan iklim terhadap tanaman teh masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dampak perubahan iklim terhadap produktivitas tanaman teh di Kebun Teh Gedeh PTPN 8, Cianjur, Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan pada April hingga Juli 2022. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, studi lapang dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan iklim berpengaruh terhadap penurunan produktivitas tanaman teh di Kebun Teh Gedeh. Terjadi fenomena perubahan iklim pada 2015 dan 2016. El Nino kuat 2015 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penurunan produktivitas tanaman teh seiring dengan berkurangnya curah hujan, hal ini ditujukkan dengan hubungan linear yang erat dengan nilai R2=0,7212. La Nina lemah 2016 tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kenaikan produktivitas tanaman teh di Kebun Teh Gedeh. Curah hujan dengan intensitas sangat tinggi di atas normal mengurangi kapasitas pemetik dibandingkan keadaan normal.id
dc.description.abstractClimate change affectt the growth and yield of tea production. However, research on the impact of climate change on tea plantation is still limited. This study aims to determine the impact of climate change on the productivity of tea plants in the Gedeh Tea Garden of PTPN 8, Cianjur, West Java. The study was conducted from April to July 2022. The data was collected from interview field data collection and literatures. The results showed that climate change had an effect on reducing the productivity of tea production in study site. The strong El Nino evenet in 2015 had a significant effect on the decline in tea crop productivity due to decreasing rainfall during El Nino, the productivity had a close linear relationship with the value R2=0.7212. The weak La Nina event in 2016 did not have a significant effect on the tea productivity in Gedeh Tea Garden. Nevertheless, very high rainfall intensity above normal reduced the capacity of tea pickers compared to normal situation.id
