Sensor-based automatic irrigation system is one of the applications of precision agriculture. Currently, the rice field irrigation system still uses conventional irrigation methods that waste water. Therefore, this study aims to develop a smart irrigation system in the pilot 4.0 IPB rice fields based on information from real-time sensors using Fuzzy algorithm. This research consists of the stages of sensor node development, decision-making algorithm development, connecting system to IoT platform , actuator node development, and final testing. After testing, the system has succeeded in taking data from the environment and producing decisions from the decision-making algorithm properly according to the predetermined rule base. The system has also successfully connected to the Thinger.io server and then moved the actuator well. The system can control the amount of water that needs to be distributed to the land but cannot control the water level in the land due to factors other than irrigation.
