The parameter to determine the fulfillment of nutritional needs is food security. Three pillars of food security can be assessed by knowing the availability, consumption, and access of food. A nutritional problem that arises due to lack of food consumption is stunting, and one of the areas with a high prevalence of stunting is South Sulawesi, namely 35.7% in 2018. Types of animal foods contribute greatly to stunting prevention efforts. This study aims to determine the relationship between availability, access, and consumption of animal food with stunting in South Sulawesi. The data used are secondary data from the BPS and the Health Office. The data were processed and analyzed using Excel, NBM, and SPSS descriptively and inferentially. The results of this study indicate that the availability of animal food in South Sulawesi is good. Physical, economic, and social access still fluctuated. Consumption of animal food is categorized as low for energy adequacy and in the good category for protein adequacy. The correlation test showed that there was a significant relationship between the percentage of the poor (p=0.001) and the percentage of the illiterate population (p<0.1) with stunting, and there was no significant relationship between the availability and consumption of animal food, as well as the percentage of households without electricity and proportion of animal food expenditure.id
