      Abstract
      AMIN FAUZI. Pemetaan Perubahan Garis Pantai Menggunakan Citra Satelit di Pesisir Kabupaten Tegal, Jawa Tengah. Dibimbing oleh JAMES PARLINDUNGAN PANJAITAN dan BISMAN NABABAN. Daerah pesisir di Kabupaten Tegal mempunyai pemanfaatan ruang lahan yang cukup intensif yang perlu ditata dengan baik. Salah satu hal yang dapat menjadi acuan untuk penataan ruang lahan adalah perubahan garis pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan dan menganalisis perubahan garis pantai menggunakan citra satelit Sentinel 2A di pesisir Kabupaten Tegal tahun 2015 – 2019. Metode algoritma yang digunakan yaitu Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) dan metode analisis Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS). Hasil penelitian menyebutkan nilai NDWI yang lebih besar dari nol diasumsikan sebagai badan air dan jika lebih kecil dari nol diasumsikan sebagai daratan. Abrasi terbesar terjadi di subzona A3 (Desa Maribaya) dengan nilai - 131,86 m dengan rata- rata kemunduran 33,44 m/tahun. Kemunduran garis pantai di Desa Maribaya tersebut terjadi akibat fenomena angin, gelombang besar, dan konversi lahan untuk dijadikan tambak ikan. Nilai perubahan akresi terbesar terjadi di subzona B2 yaitu dengan nilai sebesar 30,95 m. Hal ini terjadi di sisi area yang memiliki bangunan pelindung pantai berupa bangunan jetty. Perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi bersifat ringan hingga sangat berat sehingga diperlukan penanganan khusus agar pembangunan wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Tegal dapat meminimalisir kerugian dari perubahan tersebut.       AMIN FAUZI. Mapping of Coastline Changes Using Satellite Imagery on the Coast of Tegal Regency, Central Java. Supervised by JAMES PARLINDUNGAN PANJAITAN and BISMAN NABABAN. The coastal area in Tegal Regency has a fairly intensive land use so that it needs to be managed properly. One of the parameter that used for the coastal management is the change of the coastline. This study aims to map and analyze shoreline changes using Sentinel 2A satellite imagery on the coast of Tegal Regency in 2015 – 2019. The algorithm method used is the Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) and the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) analysis method. The results of the study stated that the NDWI value greater than zero was assumed to be a body of water and if it was less than zero it was assumed to be land. The biggest abrasion occurred in subzone A3 (Maribaya Village) with a value of -131.86 m with an average decline of 33.44 m/year. The retreat of the coastline in Maribaya Village was due to the phenomenon of wind,large waves, and land conversion to to the fish pond area. The value of the largest accretion change occurred in subzone B2 with a value of 30.95 m. This happens on the side of the area that has a coastal protection building in the form of a jetty building. The changes in the coastline that occur are mild to very severe so special handling is needed so that the development of the coastal area of Tegal Regency can minimize losses from these changes.
