dc.description.abstractIndustri kosmetik yang semakin berkembang menjadi daya tarik bagi PT RBI dalam mengembangkan bisnisnya untuk produk-produk kosmetik. Salah satu produk kosmetik yang ingin dikembangkan adalah krim wajah untuk mengatasi masalah jerawat dan tidak menyebabkan kulit kering. Bahan aktif yang sesuai untuk permasalah tersebut adalah tea tree oil dan kolagen ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui formulasi krim wajah terbaik dengan satu faktor dan tiga taraf uji, yaitu persentase penambahan tea tree oil dengan taraf (1%; 1,25%; 1,5%). Penelitian dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu persiapan bahan, formulasi krim wajah, dan pengujian karakteristik. Pemilihan formulasi krim wajah terbaik ditentukan berdasarkan parameter pengujian karakteristik terpilih dengan pembobotan kualitas metode termodifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil pembobotan kualitas, formulasi dengan persentase penambahan tea tree oil sebanyak 1,5% (F3) memiliki keunggulan yang lebih dibandingkan dengan formulasi lainnya. Formulasi tersebut menunjukan karakteristik krim wajah yang baik, diantaranya memiliki nilai pH 7,26; daya sebar 5 cm; viskositas 10360 cP; ukuran globul 1,16 μm; penampakan homogen; dan tipe emulsi m/a.id
dc.description.abstractThe growing cosmetic industry has become an attraction for PT RBI in developing its business for cosmetic products. One of the cosmetic products that want to be developed is a face cream to treat acne problems and does not cause dry skin. The active ingredients that are suitable for this problem are tea tree oil and fish collagen. This study aims to determine the best facial cream formulation with one factor and three test levels, namely the percentage of addition of tea tree oil with a level (1%; 1,25%; 1,5%). The research was conducted in three stages, namely preparation of ingredients, formulation of facial cream, and testing of characteristics. The selection of the best facial cream formulation was determined based on the selected characteristic test parameters by weighting the quality of the modified method. Based on the quality weighting results, the formulation with the percentage addition of tea tree oil as much as 1,5% (F3) has more advantages compared to other formulations. The formulation shows good facial cream characteristics, including having a pH value of 7,26; spreadability 5 cm; viscosity 10360 cP; globule size 1,16 m; homogeneous appearance; and o/w emulsion type.id
