Supervised by MAHMUDI SIWI In the recent development context, companies are no longer faced with responsibilities that are only based on the profit aspect, but also on the social-environmental aspect. The company is no longer just an economic activity to create profit for its business continuity, but it’s also responsible for its environmental and social aspects, namely by providing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Several previous studies have stated that CSR programs have an impact on four areas of cultivation, including education, economics, health, environment and infrastructure. However, it’s necessary to look further to find out the implementation of the program in the real life of the Indonesian people, especially in villages that are directly affected by the company. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the success rate of CSR programs and the level of community development in the villages around the company. The method used in this study is quantitative with a questionnaire supported by qualitative data with in-depth interviews. Keywords: CSR, community development, company | id |
