dc.description.abstract | Pemanfaatan karbohidrat sebagai protein sparing effect perlu dilakukan
untuk meningkatkan kinerja pertumbuhan pada ikan lele (Clarias gariepinus).Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan penambahan daun insulin dalam pakan. Penelitian menggunakan lima perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan, sebagai perlakuan yaitu penambahan daun insulin 0%, 0,5%, 1,0%, 1,5%, dan 2,0%. Ikan dengan bobot 3,98±0,01 g dipelihara di tangki IBC (Intermediet Bulk Container) ukuran 100 x 100 x 100 cm3 sejumlah 15-unit dan setiap unit ditebar 100 ekor ikan. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama 49 hari dengan pemberian pakan tiga kali sehari secara at satiation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan pakan dengan penambahan daun insulin 1% dapat meningkatkan biomassa akhir, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, protein efficiency ratio, dan specific growth rate serta menurunkan jumlah konsumsi pakan dan feed convertion ratio. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu suplementasi daun insulin 1% pada pakan dapat meningkatkan kinerja pertumbuhan ikan lele. | id |
dc.description.abstract | Utilization of carbohydrates as protein sparing effects needs to be done to improve growth performance in catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The effort that can be made is by adding insulin leaves in feed. The study used five treatment and three replications, as a treatment, namely the addition of 0% insulin leaves, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, and 2.0%. Fish with a weight of 3.98 ± 0.01 g is kept in the IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) tank size of 100 x 100 x 100 cm3 in the amount of 15-unit and each unit was stocked by 100 fish. Maintenance was carried out for 49 days with feeding three times a day ad saving. The results showed feed treatment with the addition of 1% insulin leaves could increase the final biomass, survival rate, protein efficiency ratio, and specific growth rate and reduced the amount of feed consumption and feed convertion ratio.
