dc.description.abstractCanine parvovirus first emerged in the 1970s in dogs in Australia where it appeared very similar but perhaps slightly worse than the disease seen in the cat and has rapidly become the primary cause of severe illness and death for puppies and adolescent dogs. This study aims to analyze secondary data of supportive treatments, find out the most susceptible age for canine parvovirus and to understand how various supportive treatments of canine parvovirus help the recovery process. The study was done by collecting data from ‘animal republic’ veterinary clinic in 2021. The data was analyzed in excel and the most susceptible age group for canine parvovirus was determined. In conclusion, Puppies of 2-4 months are most severely affected by Canine Parvovirus-2. Antiemetics help reduce fluid loss. Antibiotics help counter sepsis due to destruction of gastrointestinal lining and fluid therapy help restore hydration levels to the body.id
