Hubungan Tingkat Kinerja Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) dengan Tingkat Keberdayaan Anggota (Kasus BMT Insan Mulia Kota Palembang)

Abstract

Hadirnya Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) selaku lembaga mikro syariah, telah menjadi penggerak UMKM yang mengalami penurunan produktivitas operasional sepanjang wabah Covid-19 dengan penerapan sistem syariah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat secara ekonomi dan non ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan tingkat kinerja Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) dengan tingkat keberdayaan anggota (Kasus BMT Insan Mulia Kota Palembang). Proses pengumpulan data menerapkan metode penelitian berupa metode survei melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran instrumen kuesioner kepada 30 responden dan pendekatan kualitatif didukung oleh data kualitatif, berupa wawancara mendalam dan data sekunder. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat antara tingkat kinerja Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) Insan Mulia dengan Tingkat Keberdayaan Anggota (Kasus BMT Insan Mulia Kota Palembang).

The exsitence of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) as a sharia micro institution, has become a driving-force for MSME (UMKM) that experienced a decline in operational productivity during the Covid-19 outbreak with the implementation of the sharia system to empower the community economically and non-economically. This research aims to examine the correlation of BMT’S performance level with the level of empowerment of BMT members (Study research in BMT Insan Mulia Palembang City). The process of data collection was applied with survey method with quantitative approaches through questionnaire instruments that diffuse to 30 respondents and qualitative approaches are supported by qualitative data, in the form of in-depth interviews and secondary data. Quantitative data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test through SPSS software and Microsoft Excel. The results obtained by this research is a significant relationship between the performance level of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) Insan Mulia and the level of Member Empowerment (Case: BMT Insan Mulia, Palembang City).
