      Abstract
      Karakteristik bioakustik merupakan sifat khas pada suatu objek yang berhubungan dengan suara yang dihasilkan oleh objek tersebut. Parameter dalam bioakustik yaitu frekuensi suara yang dihasilkan oleh objek yang diamati. Bioakustik adalah ilmu yang mempelajari suara pada makhluk hidup, dengan melakukan penelitian bioakustik maka dapat untuk mengetahui tingkah laku hewan yang menjadi obyek penelitian. Penelitian ini tentang bioakustik pada krustase. Lobster capit merah merupakan lobster yang berasal dari Australia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik bioakustik dari Cherax quadricarinatus jantan. Suara tersebut direkam pada saat pemberian pakan, yang dilakukan pada malam hari selama tiga hari selama kurang lebih 60 menit. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukan lobster capit merah jantan memiliki 3 jenis suara, yaitu chewwalk, klik, dan stridulatori. Suara chewwalk berada pada frekuensi 45, 70, dan 80 Hz, suara klik frekuensi 75 Hz, serta suara stridulatori frekuensi 170 Hz. Suara klik dan chewwalk termasuk ke dalam bagian suara stridulatory.
       
      Bioacoustic characteristics are the characteristics of an object related to the sound produced by the object. The parameter used in bioacoustic is the sound frequency produced by the object being observed. Bioacoustic is the study of sound in living things, by conducting bioacoustic research, it can be used to determine the behavior of the animal which is the object of research. This research is about bioacoustic in crustacean. Red lobster claws are lobsters originating from Australia. The purpose of this study was to determine the bioacoustic characteristics of male Cherax quadricarinatus. The sound is recorded at the time of feeding, which is carried out at night for three days for approximately 60 minutes. The results of data processing show that the male red lobster claws have 3 types of sound, namely chewwalk, click, and stridulatory. Chewwalk sounds are at a frequency of 45, 70, and 80 Hz, a click sound frequency of 75 Hz, and a stridulatory sound at a frequency of 170 Hz. Clicks and chewwalk sounds are included in the stridulatory sound section.
