      Pengaruh Gelembung Udara terhadap Pengukuran Target Strength Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) dalam Kondisi Terkontrol

      Abstract
      Noise merupakan energi yang terbentuk akibat dari alam maupun buatan yang tidak diinginkan dalam pengukuran. Hal ini dikarenakan noise dapat meningkatkan adanya galat atau ketidaksesuaian nilai, sehingga noise harus dihilangkan agar hasil pengukuran akurat. Pengukuran target strength (TS) dalam bidang kelautan digunakan untuk menduga stok ikan ataupun pola distribusi. Salah satu noise yang dapat mempengaruhi pengukuran TS adalah gelembung udara. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat seberapa besar gangguan (noise) yang disebabkan oleh gelembung udara pada area penelitian, dan sejauh mana efek dari gangguan tersebut dalam pengukuran objek penelitian. Pengukuran nilai TS ikan nila dengan gelembung udara menggunakan instrumen echosounder Simrad EK15. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Ms. Excel, Echoview 4 dan menggunakan analisis statistika ANOVA satu arah untuk melihat pengaruh nilai TS gelembung udara terhadap nilai TS ikan nila. Hasil menunjukkan nilai F hitung sebesar 21.11 dan F tabel sebesar 2.99 yang menyatakan noise berupa gelembung udara berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai TS ikan nila. Ukuran gelembung udara dengan volume lebih besar menghasilkan fluktuasi nilai TS ikan nila yang kian membesar. Rekomendasi reduksi noise saat pengambilan dan pengolahan data selanjutnya sangat disarankan agar menghasilkan nilai TS yang lebih akurat.
       
      Noise is energy that is formed as a result of natural man-made, which is undesirable in measurement. Noise can increase the errors so that, noise must be removed. Measurement of target strength (TS) in the marine sector is used to predict fish stocks or distribution patterns. One of the noises that can affect TS measurement is air bubbles. This research was conducted to see how much noise is caused by air bubbles in the study area, and to what extent the effect of these disturbances in the measurement of the object of study. Measuring the TS value of Nile tilapia with air bubbles used the Simrad EK15 echosounder instrument. Data processing was carried out. by using Ms. Excel, Echoview 4, and using one-way ANOVA statistical analysis to see the effect of the TS value of air bubbles on the TS value of Nile tilapia. The results show the calculated F value of 21.11 and the F table of 2.99 which states that noise in the form of air bubbles has a significant effect on the TS value of Nile tilapia. The size of the air bubbles with a larger volume results in an increasing fluctuation in the TS value of Nile tilapia. Noise reduction recommendations during data collection and further processing are highly recommended to produce a more accurate TS value.
