Peran Kepemimpinan dalam Resiliensi Komunitas Nelayan Menghadapi Kerusakan Ekosistem Laut

Abstract

Kerusakan ekosistem laut akibat iklim dan aktivitas manusia membawa dampak rusaknya habitat ikan dan punahnya beberapa jenis ikan. Masyarakat nelayan merupakan komunitas yang paling merasakan dampaknya karena menurunnya pendapatan dan produktivitas tangkapan mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peranan kepemimpinan pada resiliensi komunitas di Desa Bangsring Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online disebabkan situasi pandemi virus corona. Pemilihan responden dilakukan secara accidental sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan dalam melakukan perencanaan, komunikasi, pengambilan keputusan dan membangun kerjasama mampu membangun aksi kolektif komunitas nelayan dalam mengatasi kerusakan ekosistem laut. Berbagai aksi kolektif yang dilakukan menghasilkan resiliensi komunitas pada bidang sosial,ekonomi dan infrastruktur.

Damage to marine ecosystems due to climate and human activities has resulted in the destruction of fish habitats and the extinction of several types of fish. The fishing community is the community that feels the most impact because of the decreased income and productivity of their catch. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of leadership in communities affected by the disaster of marine ecosystem damage in Bangsring Village, Banyuwangi Regency. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection was carried out online due to the corona virus pandemic situation. The selection of respondents was done by accidental sampling with a total of 30 respondents. The results showed that the role of leadership in planning, communication, decision making and building cooperation was able to build collective action of fishing communities in overcoming damage to marine ecosystems. The various collective actions taken have resulted in community resilience in the social, economic and infrastructure fields.
