dc.description.abstractSenyawa flavonoid telah diketahui memiliki beberapa manfaat, diantaranya memiliki sifat antijamur, antivirus dan antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemanfaatan senyawa flavonoid sebagai antifouling agent dengan dosis berbeda dalam menekan pertumbuhan teritip. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan pada setiap perlakuan. Substrat yang digunakan adalah panel kayu dengan ukuran 5 x 5 x 25 cm3. Dosis senyawa flavonoid yang digunakan dalam pengamatan pertumbuhan teritip yaitu 0 gram, 6 gram, 9 gram, 12 gram, dan 15 gram yang dilarutkan ke dalam 500 ml pelarut (475 ml cat + 25 ml tiner). Pengamatan dilakukan pada hari ke-56 dengan menghitung biomassa dan jumlah teritip, persentase penurunan biomassa dan jumlah teritip terhadap kontrol, dan persentase luasan penempelan teritip. Dosis terbaik pada penelitian ini ialah pada dosis 15 gram dengan biomasa teritip terendah sebesar 2,1 gram dan jumlah teritip terendah sebesar 20,75 individu/unit panel, persentase penurunan biomassa tertinggi sebesar 72,76% dan persentase penurunan jumlah teritip tertinggi sebesar 76,82%, serta persentase luasan penempelan teritip terendah sebesar 9,6%.id
dc.description.abstractFlavonoid compound has been known to have several benefits such as antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial. This study aims to evaluate flavonoid compounds utilization as antifouling agent with different dosage in suppressing barnacles growth. This study was conducted with five treatments and four repetition. Substrate that has been used was wooden panel (5 x 5 x 25 cm3). Dosage of flavonoid in barnacles growth observation were 0 grams, 6 grams, 9 grams, 12 grams, and 15 grams dissolved in 500 ml solution (475 ml paint + 25 ml tiner). Observations were made on the 60th day by calculating the biomass and number of barnacles, the percentage of biomass reduction and the number of barnacles against control, and the percentage of area where barnacles were attached. The best dose in this study was at a dose of 15 grams with the lowest barnacles biomass of 2,1 grams and the lowest number of barnacles was 20,75 individuals/panel unit, the highest percentage of biomass reduction was 72,76% and the highest percentage of amount reduction barnacles was 76,82%, and the lowest percentage of barnacle sticking area is 9,6%.id
