Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is one of intracellular antioxidant. SOD plays an important role in protection of the cell against oxidant, oxidative stress, which caused various diseases and degenerative processes such as aging and carcinogenesis (Ames and Shigenaga, 1992). The intracellular antioxidant maintain balance amount of certain toxic oxygens (Touati, 1992). Hypercholesterolemic condition showed decreased the level of intracellular antioxidant in the liver and kidney of rats (Wresdiyati et al., 2004, Wresdiyati et al., 2006). The decreasing level of the antioxidant can be prevented by decreasing level of serum cholesterol up to normal level. .......id
