Institutional repository is a repository of digital collections published by institutions. Institutional repository is important as a container store and preserve collections produced by the institution. However, before developing the institutional repository feasibility study needs to ensure that the development process will be able to run well. The purpose of this study is to assess/feasibility study analysis in the development of institutional repositories at ITD and make a recommendation for the development of institutional repositories at ITD. Institutional repository element studied is the infrastructure, human resources, budget, rules/SOP, and content. IPB repositories use as a model in this research. The method used is knowledge management systems (KMS) in stages 1 and 2. Weighting interests repository elements using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The weighting for each component element of institutional repository based on the opinion of experts, the assessment of the four elements are as follows institutional repository infrastructure (22.23%), content (21.32%), rule / SOP (20.00%), human resources (19.36%), budget (16.99%). Based on the weighting that the most important component in building repository is infrastructure and the last one is the budget. Based on the analysis of the feasibility of the ITD infrastructure percentages obtained in building institutional repositories amounted to 51.96%. The percentage is derived from the percentage of the value of the following eligibility is infrastructure (21.44%), human resources (14.33%), budget (0%), rules / SOP (3.40%), and content (12.79%). While the results of the alignment of the management of knowledge shows that knowledge in IPB and ITD focuses on strategies codification where codification in IPB done by (89%) and in the ITD by (78%). This shows that both IPB and ITD focus on storage technology knowledge management, indexing, retrieval and reuse of knowledge that is stored. Furthermore, if the IPB has had a team in developing the knowledge, the ITD has the potential to have a team that consists of a collaboration between Library and Resource Information Team (SDI) ITD. The results of the study referred to the several things that need to be ordered in the effort to develop the institutional repository ITD and refer to the model repository development in IPB is to provide the infrastructure that is software as a tool for transferring media content repository, making decree for institutional repository development team, create standard operational procedure for digital documents and the handover of the scientific work of the academic community ITD and make decree for deposit of scientific work and submit a budget for activities of institutional repository.id
