dc.description.abstractIntegrated farming system has agribusiness potential development based on entrepreneurship, where farmers plays role as an entrepreneur farmer actor. Most of the famers have limited access to information, innovation, capital, technology, and entrepreneur capacity in developing their farming, that results in low capability to become an entrepreneur farmer. Entrepreneur farmer character can be influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factor which influence entrepreneur farmer character are entrepreneur skills and farmer’s personal characteristic, whereas eksternal factor are physical environment, socioculture and economic environment, and institutional environment. Interaction internal and eksternal factor would influence entrepreneur learning process for farmer. The level of farmer’s entrepreneurship in this research is measured by innovation, entrepreneurial skills, and entrepreneurial learning process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the level of innovation adoption ruminant livestock-rice integrated farming system, to identify entrepreneurial skills of ruminant livestock-rice integrated farming system’s farmer, to analyze the correlation between the innovation adoption of ruminant livestock-rice integrated farming system and entrepreneurial skills, and identify the entrepreneurial development model of livestock-rice integrated farming system. The methods used in this research are; logistic model, rank spearman and qualitative inductive. The results showed that, (1) the factors that influence adoption innovation are education, employment status, membership and participation of farmers in gapoktan, (2) ruminant livestock-rice integrated farming farmer’s entrepreneurial skill assessments with good skill critera in sequence are professional, opportunity, management, cooperative, where as skill assessment with neutral criteria is strategy skill, (3) correlation between innovation of ruminant livestock-rice integrated farming system with entrepreneur skill which has significance namely; diversification, integrated patterns, local resources orientation, and processing technology, this relation showed that the higher farmer’s entrepreneur skill, the higher the opportunity of farmer in doing the innovation adoption of livestock-rice of integrated farming system, (4) Based on entrepreneurial farmer development model, the forming of entrepreneurial farmer which have an entrepreneurial skill capacity in the optimal level (professional, opportunity, management, cooperative, strategy) can be achieved when the implementation of innovation adoption by the farmers are conducted along with entrepreneurial learning process, supported by conducive environment.en
