dc.description.abstractIndian mackerel, threadfin bream, yellowstripe scad, fringescale sardinella, and torpedo scad have an economically important value in Gulf of Banten. The fishing effort use are lift net, demersal danish seine, and gill net can be cause population depletion and vulnerability. The purpose of study was to assess the stock vulnerablility and potential of sustainability. Two main characteristic determine the sustainability of fishery is the population’s ability to recover once depleted (productivity) and the susceptibility of spesies capture (susceptibility). Indian mackerel had the highest value productivity and susceptibility than threadfin bream, yellowstripe scad, fringescale sardinella, and torpedo scad. The vulnerability index that have for Indian mackerel, threadfin bream, yellowstripe scad, fringescale sardinella, and torpedo scad consecutive which is 1.04, 1.00, 0.89, 0.73, and 0.93.en
