Petir village contributes to the production of sheep in West Java. The majority of sheep farmers in Petir village use grass as the feed which depends on weather condition. Cassava leaves silage can be an alternative feed with good quality. Introduction of cassava leaves silage can affect the feasibility of livestock business. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of sheep farming in terms of financial and nonfinancial aspects with and without introduction of cassava leaves silage. In actual condition the results of market and marketing aspects, technical aspect, social aspect, and environmental aspect showed that the business was feasible. Meanwhile, the technical aspect on the condition with introduction of cassava leaves silage feed was not feasible. Then, the results of financial aspect in actual condition showed that among three business scales (I: up to 5 sheep, II: 6 to 10 sheep, and III: larger than 10 sheep), Type III was the only feasible one. In addition, the result of switching value showed that the business was more responsive to the decrease of selling price than the increase in purchasing price of sheep.
