Perencanaan Lanskap Pulau Lelei Sebagai Area Penyambutan Kawasan Wisata Bahari Kepulauan Guraici Maluku Utara
Abstract
Guraici Archipelago is a marine tourism destination in South Halmahera, Province of North Maluku. Landscape planning for Welcome area was intend to accomodate tourist requirement for their activities. The landscape planning specifically locate in Lelei Island which have 10,46 Ha of the area to be developed. This study was purposed to propose landscape planning in Lelei Island as an welcome area for marine tourism in Guraici Archipelago area according to its landscape and society potency to pursue the island vision to be a tourism object.The study was conducted since April 2012 until June 2012. Planning process by Simonds (2006) way used with research approach which consisted of commission, research, analysis, and sintesis. Spatial and descriptive analysis were use to determine the suitability of the space for tourism. The result showed that 55,9% of the space was high suitability for planning, 23,5 % moderate, and 20,4% was low. Site was planned consisting of 0,5 Ha welcome area (5,02%), 5,6 Ha service area (54,44%), 3,2 Ha conservation area (10,53%), and 1,1 Ha transition area (9,76%).
