| dc.description.abstract | Fishing businesses need capital to finance its business operations. The aim of this study is to formulate the cost of fishing trips and to review the feasibility for a loan granted by the bank. Tha survey methods used to review the issues, is the selection of respondents by purposive sampling. The analysis is based on the total cost, the operating cycle (OC) and cash conversion cycle (CCC) and credit evaluation. Existing funding comes from independent capital and loans (credit or fellow fisherman). The loans fellow fishermen (partnership) is based on agreements and beliefs grounded. The operational costs per year for long line, purse seine, and bouke ami is IDR 2.212.800.000, IDR 1.624.600.000, IDR 1.770.360.000. The amount of fee is based on the type of fishing gear, boats GT size, and how frequent they go to sea. Operating cycle of long line per year is 1-2 trip, purse seine 3-4 trip, and bouke ami 5-6 trip. The CCC value is positive, that is 185 days for long line, purse seine 105 days, and ami bouke 65 days. This value indicates that each companies need capital loan. It is illustrated that the reduction of CCC reduces the cost as much as the days multiplied by the cost per day (a). If the company borrows capital from the bank, then the costs are reduced and profits increased by (a) multiplied by the applicable rate. The evaluation of credit number for long line is 79.07, purse seine 78.03, and bouke ami 76.00. The result is that company are declared eligible to get loan from the bank. | en |
