dc.description.abstractThe Experiment was conducted at Field Station Research of Cikabayan, Bogor Agricultural University in April- August 2013. The objective of the research was to evaluate rice germplasm tolerance to high temperature conditions. The experiment was arranged in Augmented Randomixed Block Design with 8 national variety of rice as checks. The genotypes evaluated were 49 consisted of 20 promising lines and 29 local varieties. The results showed genotypes influenced to the characters plant height at vegetative stage, time of flowering, plant height at harvesting time, long of panicle, number of total tiller, number of productive tiller, time of ripening, number of filled grain, number of empty grain, seed index, weight of total filled grain, number of total empty grain, and percentage of empty grain were very singnificant different among genotypes evaluated. There were several lines and local varieties that had results equals or higher with the checks, namely Mekongga, IR 64, Inpari 13, IPB 3S, IPB 4S, IPB 5R, IPB 6R and IPB 7R.en
