| dc.description.abstract | Latosol Soil generally used for agricultural activities. Soil aggregate stability is an important property because it affects to many other soil physical properties. Soil aggregate stability is influenced by various factors of foundation soil aggregate such as soil texture, clay mineral type, exchangeable cations, soil organic matter, biological processes, land use and soil tillage. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of land use of soil aggregate stability and soil factors that influence on soil aggregate stability in Latosol Soil Dramaga. Analyzed parameters were soil aggregate stability, soil texture, soil organic matter, exchangeable calcium, magnecium, sodium. The analysis showed soil aggregate stability on all land uses were classified to very stable category (ISA> 200). Soil aggregate stabiliy was influenced by land use (P< 0.05). Highest soil aggregate stability was founded in Cocoa Garden and lowest in the Cassava Garden. Land use affected the Latosol Soil aggregates stability and aggregateforming factors such as soil organic matter and exchangeable calcium (P< 0.05). Analysis of variance showed soil aggregate stability were significantly influenced by percent of soil organic matter, exchangeable calcium, magnecium and sodium, and percent of clay and sand (R-Square = 93%, P< 0.05). The exchangeable calcium and magnecium had the highest impact than the other aggregate form factor in soil aggregates stability (P = 0.004). | en |
