Pembangunan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Inventarisasi Barang Milik Negara Dengan Metode Agile Unified Process (AUP)

Abstract

Government assets inventory in the Secretariat of the Vice-President office is still carried out manually. Assets are recorded into the main book only for new assets or goods, however unused assets have not been well recorded. This condition raises several problems, such as time consuming for assets recording process, difficulty in data collection of inventory items, difficulty in goods inventory in the warehouse, unidentified asssets condition (damaged items) for the elimination of the goods and the lack of accurate data on the number of items in the warehouse. Therefore, this study is carried out to design a management information system of government assets inventory in the Secretariat of the Vice President office. The management information system development consists of four stages: inception, elaboration, construction and transition stages. Development of a web-based system is conducted by using PHP programming language. A black-box testing technique is used to test the system. The developed system is expected to assist in conducting a better and well organized government assets inventory process. Government assests inventory management information system will also be more user-friendly especially for inventory.
