The risks of traditionally goat and sheep treatment particularly in Bogor are low livestock productivity and the high risk of parasite infection, i.e gastrointestinal Nematode. Gastrointestinal Nematode tract most infect goats and sheep in Bogor and causes anaemia is Haemonchus contortus. The 3rd phase larvae of H. contortus can get into the abomasum of goats and sheep through the grass. There are two famous methods to suspect anaemia because of H. contortus, can be based on the number of eggs per gram of feces (Faecal Egg Counts/ FEC) and eyelid color by color gradation FAMACHA© card. FEC indicates the average number of investments H. contortus in the abomasum of goats and sheep. The H. contortus’s eggs found in nearly 153 goats and sheep from traditional farms and UP3 Jonggol that feces examined. Haemonchus contortus attacked goats and sheep at different ages but it attacked mostly at aged 12-16 months. The average of FEC from sheep higher than goats. This is related to the morphology of its mouth and food grassing. The high infection of H. contortus in Bogor due to traditional maintenance. Sheep on traditional farms are more susceptible from H. contortus than UP3 Jonggol’s sheep. The correlation between FEC and age were negative, where as the correlation between FEC with FAMACHA© card is positive. This provides an opportunity FEC and FAMACHA© card methodes used simultaneously to suspect anemia because of H. contortus in Bogoren
